By signing up for more information, you will receive tried-and-true tips that we use at our academy that should help you as well. However, if you would like to contact us immediately, visit our contact page. You will receive tips on the following:

What It Takes

Are you sure you really want to be a fighter? We’re not convinced just yet. We get folks coming in all the time that say they want to compete, when they are actually looking to fill some need to look like tough. The hard work, pain and frustration that comes with our Warrior Program can be too much if you aren't prepared to make sacrifices. Are you ready to sacrifice?

Conditioning

Your conditioning will be of utmost importance. You will go through a ridiculous amount of cardio and muscle motion exercises. You could be the greatest martial arts practitioner in the world, but if you gas out or lose mobility after 30 seconds, you’re not ready. And we refuse to let that happen. When you are part of the Warrior Path, you are expected to be ready to physically ready to compete.

Martial Arts Training

As much as we harp on what it takes to become a Warrior Athlete, we do actually learn how to fight here. We do it often and we do it well. We train in various styles and techniques, as you can imagine. Whether you are focused on a Jiu-Jitsu tournament, Boxing bout, Muay Thai Fight, Judo match, Wrestling meet or full MMA, we’ve got you covered, and will make sure you are ready to be your best.

Dealing With Setbacks

As we all know, setbacks happen all the time. But how we deal and cope with those holdups is what makes us winners or losers. We choose whether we move forward or regress. Martial arts training is no different. Are you willing to learn and grow from failure? Do you have a group of individuals around you that will keep you motivated when things look rough? Welcome to Guardian MMA.

Your First Fight

You’ve been training for what feels like forever, and we’ve decided that you are ready for your first fight. Are you excited? Maybe a little scared? You should be! There is still so much that you don’t know about. You’ll be in a different world once your fight begins. While training, you didn’t have these crazy lights on you in front of dozens if not hundreds of strangers. But don't panic. We're there to push you.

Now You're A Fighter

You’ve got your first fight under your belt. How did you do? Were you really ready? Did you win? Did you lose? Did you learn anything? Do you still want to be a fighter? You’ve gotten the scary part over with. You’ve had the experience of a lifetime; all in a matter of minutes. Most people will never have that adrenaline rush for fun. Let's decide on what we're going to do next.
